Mother-of-pearl and bone inlay furniture uses a technique that involves fixing intricately hand-carved pieces of mother-of-pearl or camel bone onto a bespoke frame. The gaps are then filled with a resin that comes in many colours, and the surface is sanded down to a smooth finish.
